Katie is a certifiable bookworm who has always enjoyed diving into other worlds by reading books. After reading a chapter book aloud to her kindergarten classmates for the first time, she knew she was hooked on this storytelling thing - the book was Cannonball Chris by Jean Marzollo if you're curious.

 

Many years later, Katie now pinches herself daily to remember that she actually is living the life of her dreams. She has great joy and enthusiasm for her work and considers it an extraordinary privilege to bring stories to new audiences through audiobook narration.

Katie has 20+ years of acting experience and earned her BA in theater from Texas Christian University. She also has 15+ years of experience in voiceover providing voice for brands such as Danone, Ugg and Philadelphia Eagles, to name a few, and has appeared in 30+ anime titles including most recently The Unwanted Undead Adventurer (Sheila). 

 

Katie enjoys narrating, mysteries, romantic comedies, stories for young readers, and more. She is skilled in character voices and accents including British RP, American Southern (Texas), NYC, and Italian.

 

Katie enjoyed a career in nonprofit fundraising for several years and continues to volunteer for organizations such as the National Association of Voice Actors. She carries the sharp business tools of productive communication and excellent time management. Along with her strong work ethic and positive attitude, Katie will no doubt add value to your next project.

 

When she’s not in her booth, Katie enjoys spending time camping & hiking in nature, sharing baked creations with her loved ones, and babying the roses in her garden.
